I started UNBROKEN after losing my son to an overdose—6 years ago this May.

Since then, I’ve heard too many stories like mine… and not enough spaces to share them.

This is about changing that.

On May 14, UNBROKEN comes to Green Bay as a collaborative gallery experience—bringing together two photographers using their work to process, document, and share real stories.

Featuring Two Artists: 

Jeremiah (Butter with the Shutter)
A Milwaukee-based, award-recognized photographer known for striking architectural and urban imagery—capturing structure, stillness, and perspective in a way that invites reflection.

Anthony Alvarado (The Unbroken Project)
A portrait-based storytelling series centered on grief, overdose loss, and healing—featuring real people and the stories they carry.

Together, the work creates a shared space—where environment meets emotion, and where art opens the door to conversation.

No stage. No program. Just space to walk through, take it in, and connect.

Why it matters
We don’t heal in silence.
We don’t carry this alone.

We are unbroken—when we share our stories, together.
